Nakeisha Blades (she/her) joined the Guttmacher Institute in 2007 and has been in her current position since 2022. Her research interests include contraceptive use, pregnancy intention and sociocultural influences on sexual behavior. Ms. Blades contributes to both domestic and international studies at the Institute, with a primary focus on access to family planning services in the United States. She holds a BA in health and societies from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in general psychology from Hunter College.
