Peter Ephross

Peter Ephross joined the Guttmacher Institute in June 2018. As an Editor, he works primarily on policy materials; he also edits the Institute’s reports and its development and communications materials. He previously was an Associate Editor, working primarily on Guttmacher’s two peer-reviewed journals. Before joining Guttmacher, Mr. Ephross worked as a Medical Editor for the New York City Health Department, editing a publication that issued preventive health guidelines for New York City’s health care providers to use with their patients. He has also worked as a journalist and edited a book about Jewish Major League Baseball players. Mr. Ephross received a BA in history from the University of Michigan and an MA in history from Brandeis University.
