Mollie Fairbanks (she/her) is a Policy Associate, State Issues, based out of Washington, DC. As part of the Public Policy division, Ms. Fairbanks tracks and analyzes state legislation and court cases dealing with reproductive health issues such as abortion, contraception and maternal health. Previously, Ms. Fairbanks worked at the Center for Reproductive Rights, where she provided strategic support to the federal team and focused on promoting the Women’s Health Protection Act in Congress. Later, she joined the National Governors Association’s Health Policy team, where she helped develop best practices for increasing COVID-19 vaccine uptake in rural communities. Ms. Fairbanks was raised in Vermont and Maryland and graduated from Agnes Scott College in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She joined the Guttmacher Institute in 2022.
