Eric Montgomery joined the Guttmacher Institute in November 2023 as the Talent Development Manager. With a strong background in talent development, employee engagement, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), Eric plays a crucial role in fostering individual growth and a culture of innovation within the organization.

Eric works to create environments where individuals and teams can thrive, collaborate and succeed. His role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, including assessing and developing the needs of employees and teams; strengthening organizational culture through trainings, programs and strategic initiatives; and advancing DEI efforts through education, support and advocacy. He is also committed to enhancing employee experience by creating opportunities for continuous learning and meaningful connection.

Eric’s passion for social justice extends into his community involvement. He serves on the Board of Directors for both a LGBTQ+ sports league and a local historical society near New York City, and he volunteers with animal rescue groups.
