Audrey Maynard (she/her) joined the Guttmacher Institute in 2021 as a Research Assistant. She works on projects focusing on abortion incidence and access to family planning, abortion and post-abortion care services in both the United States and globally. She also supports archival activities and research reproducibility work. Her primary interests include sexual and reproductive health service accessibility, qualitative methodologies and research reproducibility. Prior to joining the Institute, Ms. Maynard was involved in research on food justice and policy, as well as on the dynamic environment of support and recovery within 12-step meetings. She received her BA in anthropology, public policy and Spanish from Gettysburg College.
